Aftercare
The complete FiberBrow guide for the days after your appointment.
You have just had FiberBrow. The first days shape the result. Keep this page and follow the steps.
Essential care
- Keep your brows away from running water for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid hot baths or facial steam for 3 days.
- When washing your face, do not rub. Clean gently, with a mild soap.
- To dry, do not rub. Press a clean towel gently, just to lift the moisture. Always use a clean towel.
- Avoid exercise or anything that opens the pores for 2 days (sauna, steam and the like).
- Avoid sleeping on your side or face down for at least 3 days.
- Avoid sun exposure for 15 days.
- Avoid the sea and swimming pools for at least 15 days.
- Do not apply makeup or sunscreen directly on the treated area for 7 days. Keep at least two fingers away from it.
- Apply the recommended healing ointment twice a day, for 7 days.
- Every 12 hours, gently clean the area with cotton soaked in saline solution before reapplying.
- Avoid oily ointments.
- Small scabs forming is normal. Let them fall off on their own; if you pick them, you may pull out fibre and mark the skin.
- Some itching during healing is normal. You will want to scratch, but you must not.
Food
Choose lighter meals, with less fat and sugar, so your body spends its energy on healing rather than digestion. The better you eat, the better for your skin and your healing.
Colour and upkeep
In the first days the colour looks stronger. It settles at around 30 to 45 days, so do not judge the result before then. It lasts three to six months, and a regular touch-up keeps the brow the way you want it. Your professional notes the next date in your passport.
Important
Anti-ageing serums and rejuvenating creams harm the fixation and the durability of the procedure. Keep them away from the area.
Questions
If something does not look right, or you have any doubt, talk to your professional. They know you and performed the procedure.
